Viglio ("the app") is developed by Kun Apps (Beytan Mustafa Kun, İzmir, Türkiye). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. In short: Viglio does not require an account, shows no ads, does not track you and does not sell data.
Bluetooth scanning
Viglio listens for Bluetooth Low Energy signals broadcast by nearby devices (for example smart glasses, smartwatches, earbuds and phones) to show them on the radar and alert you. Scan results (device type estimate, signal strength, estimated distance) are processed on your phone. They are not uploaded, except for the alerts you choose to share in a team exam (see below). Exam reports you save are stored only on your device until you delete them or share them yourself.
Camera
The Lens Finder and Infrared Finder use the camera to highlight small bright reflections and infrared light on your screen. Camera frames are analysed in real time on your device. Nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded. The app never uses the microphone.
Team exams (optional)
If you create or join a team exam with a team code, the following is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so the other proctors in the same team can see it:
- the exam name and the name or room label you type in,
- alerts about newly detected devices: device type estimate, estimated distance, signal strength and time,
- a random anonymous identifier created by Firebase Authentication (not linked to your name, email or phone number).
Only people who know the team code can read this data. Team codes expire 24 hours after creation. You can ask us to delete team data at any time by email.
Purchases
Viglio Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active; RevenueCat receives purchase information and a random app user identifier. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No location collection.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
Service providers
Google Firebase (team exams) and RevenueCat (subscription status) process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Children
Viglio is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of any data related to you. Because we do not ask for your identity, please include your team code or purchase date so we can find it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
